At the recent agave roast at the Malki Museum on the Morongo Indian Reservation, the museum store still had about 6 ethnobotany calendars.

We have presented a multi-media presentation of our ethnobotany project a number of times. People have asked if we can list future presentations, etc., so we will try to keep this updated.

February 26 at 3 pm, Friday, Fullerton Arboretum, Fullerton, CA (the time and date still need to be confirmed)

NON PROFIT SELLERS:

LYDIA VASSAR, Luiseno Basketweaver, artist, has a commercial site but is selling the ethnobotany calendar to raisefunds for a special project.

The AMERICAN INDIAN CHANNEL is a not for profit organization documenting Native people’s.

The TEMECULA VALLEY MUSEUM gift shop carries the calendar as well as other Native related material including Justin Farmer’s Luiseno basketry book and Gordon Johnson’s books.

MUSEUM OF MAN gift shop located in Balboa Park, San Diego. In addition to calendars, they have Baja art and much more.

BARONA CULTURAL CENTER & MUSEUM sells many items in addition to the calendar, including Baja art and dolls by Diane Tells His Name, Sioux artist.

ANZA BORREGO DESERT NATURAL HISTORY ASSOCIATION is a wonderful stop when visiting the town of Anza Borrego that sits within the Anza Borrego Park. They have a wonderful collection of books for sale as well as native plants, native art, prickly pear cactus jams, notecards, desert art and much more.

CAREM in Tecate will have the calendars soon, they are on the way.

CALIFORNIA INDIAN MARKET AND JEWELRY is located in Old Town San Diego where Shumup Ko Hup was located. The new owners are doing very well and sell Baja art, books, and much more.
